In May, 2008 Prof. Xuanzhi Wu, a well-known scientist in the global photovoltaic researching field and his colleagues founded Advanced Solar Power INC. (Hangzhou) Ltd. Start from the beginning, ASP (Hangzhou) holds a dream that one day, China will be able to offer the most advanced Cadmium-Telluride thin-film PV modules with high efficiency, high stability and high cost-effectiveness to the worldwide market.

Nowadays, ASP owns 5 main product lines: ASP-S1, ASP-S2,ASP-S4,ASP-ST1 and ASP-ST2. Both ASP-S1 and ASP-S2 have been tested and certified by TUV Nord for EU, UL for North America and Golden Sun for China.

BIPV, a “Blue-sea” in the photovoltaic application market has attracted the interests of ASP lately. ASP clients can order their PV module products with the transparency, size, shape, background color and even background patterns specified by clients themselves.We are hoping that one day ASP’s CdTe thin-film BIPV products will help users around world by providing the renewable-energy smartness to their buildings or homes.
