Leading Edge Turbines Ltd is a British designer and manufacturer of efficient, quiet and reliable small wind turbines which provide local renewable power, worldwide.

Our mission is to engineer and offer a complete range of small wind turbines and off-grid power systems, ranging from 50W – 2 kW.

We provide solutions, not just products! We are  highly experienced in integrating our products with solar PV to create off-grid power solutions.

We are experts at small wind turbine design and manufacture.  All our products are manufactured in our UK based factory where our systems and procedures are quality assured under ISO9001.

We differentiate because our renewable energy products are cost effective and offer exceptional value for money, whilst being durable and efficient.

We have four horizontal axis turbines, with maximum power output of 300W, 450W, 600W and 2kW.  The 300W LE-300 and 450W LE-450 are designed for Class 1 wind sites, while the larger two, the LE-600 and LE-2000, are designed for Class 2 wind sites. 

These horizontal turbines can be found powering off-grid and grid-tie residences, sailboats, security cameras, road signs, water pumps, telemetry equipment, LED lighting.

We have two vertical turbines, the LE-v50 and LE-v150, which are ideal for windy sites where space is limited such as telecoms towers, high on mountains or low power data logging equipment.
