At BayWa r.e. Solar Projects GmbH, we work with local partners to manage solar projects from the greenfield stage right through to construction readiness. Our professional project engineering methods ensure the best possible use is made of the available area. Thanks to our integral implementation planning we can guarantee optimum adaptation to the specific site conditions and economic framework. Our core competences include site assessment, land securement and obtaining the required permits.

In addition to projects developed by ourselves, we also manage ongoing projects at all stages of development. Our experienced project managers lead the projects until they reach the construction stage and ensure their subsequent successful implementation. For this we are able to draw on our financing network to arrange project funding which is individually tailored to suit the respective investment.

Our clients include institutional investors, energy cooperatives and investment companies for whom solar projects represent a sustainable and profitable investment. This is particularly true when all parts of a project are optimally matched and sourced from one provider – a matter of course with us.

Our sister company BayWa r.e. Betriebsführung GmbH handles the technical and commercial management of the plants. We currently oversee solarpower stations with a total installed output of over 250 MW. Through regular inspections and fault analysis we safeguard the optimum long term yield of the plants.

Together with our partner companies in the BayWa r.e. renewable energy group, we are perfectly positioned in the fields of solar, wind, bio, and geothermal energy generation to take on one of the critical challenges of our time: providing reliable and clean energy to our customers.
