Sinowatt, established in Jun 2010, is a high-tech state-owned enterprise invested by China Zhenhua(Group) Science& Technology Co. Ltd(000733.SZ). As a subordinate of China Electronics Corporation, Sinowatt is also the member of State-Owned Enterprise Electric Vehicle Industry Alliance.

Sinowatt focuses on the research, design and manufacture of lithium-ion battery, from bare cells to energy storage systems. The product application of Sinowatt covers not only the traditional portable electric products mainly as smart phones, but also the new-rising E-bike, E-motor, E-vehicle, stationary Energy Storage System(ESS), etc.

As a fast developing technology-based enterprise, Sinowatt has built a first-class R&D centre as well as a post-doctoral work station therein, and has formed a professional research team including more than 100 excellent engineers. By cooperating with professional training institutions and notable universities, Sinowatt provides young staff manifold training on technology, quality control and management capability, etc. Talent training is always the core strategy of Sinowatt.

As the strategy plan, Sinowatt will invest in power battery manufacture for E-bike, E-motor and light-duty E-vehicles during 2012-2015, and will make great effort to the R&D of automotive and large-scale ESS batteries.
