VON ARDENNE develops and manufactures advanced vacuum coating equipment for the deposition of ultra-thin functional layers on materials such as silicon wafers, glass, metal strip and polymer films. We integrate different key technologies into our coating equipment such as magnetron sputtering, electron beam evaporation, chemical vapor deposition and ion pretreatment.

Our industry-proven coating systems deposit high-performance layers and layer stacks for solar modules, solar absorbers, absorber tubes and reflectors for solar power plants at competitive cost. Beyond that, our equipment is used for the production of touch screens and architectural glass.
